The new Williamsburg trolley is here and makes a continuous loop every 30 minutes between New Town and Merchants Square with couple other stops along the way. The trolley will run from 3-10 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 3-11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and noon-8 p.m. on Sundays. The service will be free through Sept. 20. After that, rides are 50 cents. Seniors can ride for a quarter, and Williamsburg students, including students at The College of William & Mary can ride for free.
During your rides, the driver will point out historic sites, restaurants and must-visit attractions. So, sit back and relax - you can forget about traffic and parking hassles when you take a trip on the Williamsburg Trolley.
Residents at Foundation Square are already buzzing about how much they are enjoying picking up the trolley right outside their front door and taking it into Merchant's Square for a stroll in the evenings.
